WELCOME TO MY BLOG! :)

Nach dem Bewerbungsschreiben für die Oragnistation, dem Vorbereitungstreffen in Bonn, und dem Termin im Amerikanischen Konsulat in Frankfurt kann es nun endlich losgehen mit der Gastfamiliensuche! :) Im Juli läuft dies auf  hochturen!! :)

Alina from GERMANY, Age 16

Alina is open, honest and ambitious. She has a fun-loving family composed of her parents and younger brother. They enjoy family celebrations, spending time with relatives and sharing the holidays. She aids her mother with household chores and cooks meals for her brother while her parents are gone. She has a large circle of friends and three best friends with whom she spends most of her free time. She is open-minded and enjoys trying unusual and rare new things. Her favorite hobby is hip hop dancing with her friends in a group at a youth center. At school she is the class representative. She has received her Cambridge certification and loves English classes. She is polite, friendly and well-liked by her peers and teachers. Alina is ready to live the American life of which she has read and heard. She wants to experience the daily culture, explores landscapes and new places, develop friendships and integrate into a family. She is ready to build relationships, enjoy beautiful memories and grow as a person through her experience. Alina would like to join a dance team or try cheerleading, play in a powder puff football game and is open to other opportunities.
